The College Board, which administers the SAT, has developed a digital version of the test called the “Digital SAT.” This version of the test is taken on a computer and features the same content.
The Digital SAT offers a number of benefits over the paper-and-pencil version, including faster score reporting, the ability to edit and change answers easily, and a more personalized testing experience. Additionally, the Digital SAT includes tools such as an on-screen calculator, highlighter, and timer to help students navigate the test and answer questions more efficiently.

The passages in the Reading & Writing section range from 25 - 150 words. Passages represent the subject areas of literature, history/social studies, the humanities, and science.

The Math section is divided into 2 modules. Over the course of the section, you’ll answer multiple-choice and student-produced response questions that measure your fluency with, understanding of, and ability to apply the concepts, skills, and practices that are most essential.
Approximately 30% of questions are set in context. These in-context ("word") questions require you to consider a science, social studies, or real-world scenario and apply your math skills and knowledge, along with an understanding of the context, to determine the answer to each.
